PACC's Annual Meeting and Program this year will be at the 5th Street School. Stoney Douglas, who has spearheaded the renovation, will provide a guided tour of this 1930's grammar school. Also we will have an opportunity to view an exhibit from the AIA on Las Vegas architecture. More information will follow.

| 1/21/2009 - Clark County Centennial |
The kick-off to the Clark County Centennial is Thursday Feb. 5 from 5:30 to
7:30 at the Clark County Museum, 1830 S Boulder Hwy, Henderson, to
celebrate the opening of the year-long Centennial Exhibit. There will be
refreshments, entertainment and also tours of Heritage Street.
The next evening at 6pm will be the first of eleven First Friday Roundtable
Discussions at the Clark County Government Center. The first topic is
African-Americans and Segregation in Clark County, featuring author Trish
Geran, historian Dennis McBride, The Reverend Marion Bennett, and Lucille
Bryant, who came to West Las Vegas in the 1940s. The Roundtables will be
aired live on CCTV Channel 4. Audience participation is encouraged.
